Hi,
I lost my original passport and was issued a new passort which is valid till 12 feb 2007. I mailed my application to the indian consulate but they stamped the extension of passport for 1 more year. The first page of the passport say it expires the on 12th feb but on the next page th consular general stamped the extension of the passport till 12th jan 2008. I am goin to india on 26th jan for H1b stamping. I wanted to know what are the chances of the visa getting rejected at the US embassy. Alsp is the passport valid for travel

Mumbai visa bulletin for oct 2009 has different EB3 India dates(22nd Feb 2002).

Can people post experiences on turnaround time for getting medical test documents back from the doctor? I have heard 2-3 days after initial appointment, but the doctor's offices I have called say 7-10 business days. Also, I have heard that some doctor's are faster than others. Is this true?

We are family of four and have the following status

Self - Adjustment of Status (AOS - 485 filed in July'07), AP, EAD and a valid H1 (renewed recently)
Spouse - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, EAD, H4 expired end of April 2010
Son 14 yrs. old - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, H4 expired end of April 2010
Daughter - 11 yrs old - AOS 485 (filed in July'07), AP, H4 expired end of April 2010

Does my family have valid status? Specially my kids since they don't have EAD. Shall I renew their H4 for valid status? I was in the impression that if 485 is filed then there is no need to renew H4. Please advice me. I am totally confused.

I have a masters degree and when filling my residency it was specify in the position, is it something my lawyer should have requested or Immigration decides when they receive the documentation?

No issues, since her H1B is independent of your I-485. As long as she was in her old job/the job mentioned on her G-325 on the day you filed your app. you should be okay.
