Regarding EB2 spillover; i think their main problem with quarterly spillover is to move both EB2I and EB2C to the same priority date. If the spillover quantity is so less.
From one of the privious pdf from USCS number of EB2I applicants between between 22JAN05 and 01MAY05 were nearly 4K. I don't think there can ever be 4000 splillovers to EB2 in a single quarter. Remember spillover from EB1 to EB2 can only happen during the year end and quarterly spillover only includes intra catogiry.

I don�t agree with this point. If I am doing something and taking care of my parents its my duty. it does not mean my wife also have to do tit-for-tat. It depends on the situation and circumstance. If she is the only daughter, her family situation is bad then we can think about it.
In this case, when her two other sisters and specially her brother also in the US, I don�t see the reason to support the in-laws. If you make more than enough it�s different. But when you are struggling to make your ends meet...I don�t support your point on this.
Maybe that brother's philosophy in OP's story is "Stop sending money to parents and in-laws, if its possible. Otherwise, maintain parity by sending money in small amounts to both parents. It is still optimistic my freind. As one of our member pointed out, realstic number would be around 600K, which implies 16 months wait for some people. Also , we do not know the level of work force at USCIS engaged in processing EAD. It could be 10, it could be 100. More the better but it we it is fewer than we are doomed.
I think USCIS will hire contractors to take care of this shit like DOL does. EAD and AP is the most easy to process. Very less dependencies.

SriKondoji & I both being from the NE area we communicated through this thread possibility of car polling for DC and I received a call from him last thursday(Aug 9th) regarding this from some Ohio area code. So buddyinus I can at least assure you he was travelling at that time.
Receiving a call from Ohio Area Code dozn't mean that hez in Ohio. Wake up. Anyway, my point is...We've seen a lot of this guy...Dont trust him. He mislead ppl on the other thread and ppl started booing him. But he was goin on and on and on...I just realised he was the one to start this thread too...Its already 6 days since Monday and this thread is still alive. Doz he even have any decency to acknowledge his mistakes. Admins...When somebody reads something like "June end and July 2nd filers receipts by monday" on ur homepage they get excited. I guess that the supervisor of the IO processing your case did not even bother to review the MTR. As I understand (correct me if wrong), MTRs go to the same IO who denied your case but it has to be reviewed and approved by the Supervisor.

One thing I fail to understand, instead of flower compaign why do not we go in for letter compaign. Write letter to DOS and USCIS with copies to members of the congress highlighting all their inefficiencies and inconsistencies. USCIS does not deserve flowers for what it has done to us and what it is doing to us. Do you get flowers and info pass appointment ? Does customer service speak nicely to you and give you right answers ? Do you give flowers to anybody who mistreats you in real life ? I know Munbai ...has impressed a lot but that was a movie. Landed on 03/1997 on H1B. Didn't file for GC until 2003 as plan was to work for 2-3 years, get into an MBA program, and then go back.

Thank you 'lazycis' for reconfirming this. Just 2 weeks back I used to think that keep working on H1B is lot safer than using EAD :o
H1B petition can be revoked automatically if a) employer notifies USCIS that the petition is withdrawn or b) employer goes out of business. See 8 CFR 214.2.(b)(11). So yes, EAD is much safer in this regard. Revoked H1B petition cannot be used for transfer/extension. It's nice to have H1B as a fallback, but it's not a safe heaven.
