If a consultant moves from their primary work location to a client site in the same city (literally a few blocks down the street), is a new LCA or amendment required?
Do most people who work on project basis for different clients (and not fulltime for a particular employer) file a new LCA/amendment everytime they get a new project?

If your company is having layoff they cannot start new GC labour. But it has nothing to do with 485. And as in your case it doesn't stop the processing.;)

I had FP done way back in October 07..but there is no status change LUD on I-485..what to do??.:confused:..Do I take an appointment to talk to an officer or simply call USCIS ..

Hi,
I am currently with Wipro. I was working in india and i came onsite thorugh Wipro itself on H1B . Right now i have couple of offers with other companies and i would like to resign wirpo. When i want to resign wipro asks me to pay 5 lakhs + H1B change ($2000) . Can you please let me know how to proceed with this ? The reason why they are asking me to pay 5 lakhs is they want me to come back to india and work for 6 months(which does not make sense) when i have couple of offers here .
Is it legal for companies to charge this much of money ?
Has anyone from wipro come onsite and resigned here ?

A new poll from Bendixen and Associates of 800 Hispanic voters across the country reveals an electorate that is leaning Democratic, but one that is very concerned over how the Democrats are handling the immigration issue. Dear Core Team,
What is IV's stand on people still stuck in LC backlog in PEBC/DEBC, There are applications pending there since 2001/2002. If this becomes law that I-140 filed after May 2007 will be rejected then the biggest impact will be on such people as even labor is not cleared and even after waiting for so long they will lose everything.
